Rewards and Recognition
Ripples' Authors Shine in the 2023 Goody Book Awards
The process of writing a book can be described with any range of adjectives - challenging, laborious, even frustrating. But once done, most authors will also describe it with one oft-repeated word - rewarding. The rewards at the end of the book publishing process are usually abstract - the satisfaction of a difficult job well done, or the fulfillment of sharing hard-earned lessons with a receptive audience. But for six of Ripples’ authors recognized in the Goody Book Awards of 2023, the rewards were also tangible.
We are thrilled to share that in this past awards cycle, Jeff Hilimire, Adam Albrecht, Jared Belsky, Michael McCathren, William Warren, and Jo Ann Herold were all named as winners and finalists of the Goody Business Book Awards across six different categories.
Adam Albrecht, who gives the reader inspiring perspectives on how to become not only a stronger business leader but also a happier human in What Does Your Fortune Cookie Say?, was chosen as a winner in the category Self Help - Motivation.
Jeff Hilimire, who provides a blueprint for how leaders can help their team establish a higher purpose and vision for the future in The Great Team Turnaround, took the top prize in the category Leadership-Team Building.
Michael McCathren’s 6 Ps of Essential Innovation, which combines research and personal anecdotes to help leaders solve difficult problems, was awarded as the winner in the category Business-Big Ideas.
You Get the Agency You Deserve, Jared Belsky’s guide for helping business leaders inspire the best work from their agencies, was selected as a finalist in Leadership-Think Differently.
Jo Ann Herold’s Living On a Smile, full of valuable insights for any business leader who wishes to strike a healthy work-life balance and values creating a positive impact on their community through their work, was a finalist in Self Help- Memoir.
The Conquering Creative, William Warren’s guide to how creatives can build a real, thriving career or business out of their creative passions, was a finalist in the Business-Career Success category.
The Goody Business Book Awards recognized 80 winners and 74 finalists out of hundreds of nominations worldwide. The Goody Awards aim to recognize and uplift “100% social impact books” that improve readers’ lives across 50 categories, including Leadership, Business, Entrepreneurship, and Self-Help.
In such a wide pool of incredible books, it is a joy to have our authors recognized for their hard work and inspiring insights.
